What are in your words the strengths of your firm?
“Our philosophy, which is to be the best accountancy firm that we can be for our clients and team. We achieve this by working to our values which are Open, Honest, Innovative, Trustworthy, Competent and Caring.”

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned at your firm?
“Never be afraid to say no to clients, they will thank you in the long run.”
What is the most rewarding experience you have had at your firm so far?
“The way our team reacted to the Covid-19 lockdown, and how they helped our clients through probably the most turbulent period of their business careers. Some very long lasting relationships were developed during those dark times.”
What result you achieved for a client, are you most proud of?
“There is something very special about the trusted relationship that grows between an accountant and a client. When this works, it allows the client to focus on the reason why they started in business. Meanwhile we look after the numbers, and when this leads to the clients’ long term financial security, this is the achievement that I am most proud of.”
How do you help clients to be innovative?
“By asking them to open their minds to new ideas.”
What is your favourite statement that you regularly use when advising your clients?
“We are reassuringly expensive…..”
Which conditions do you think a ‘ firm of the future’ should meet?
“The Firm of the Future is not just about information technology, its about staying relevant to the three main value drivers within the Firm: Team Process & Clients. As a Firm we need to be forward thinking across all three areas, ensuring we are innovative and embrace new ideas that advance us as a Firm, which will include IT, but not just for its own sake.”
