In this section of the website, we introduce you to one of our firms. Up next is Buckleys run by Managing Director Peter Pring and his team. Read his answers to our questions to get to know him and the firm.
What do you like about working for your firm?
“I enjoy working with a great team to help our clients on day to day matters and meeting with them to discuss their businesses and life in general to help them to set and achieve their goals.”
What are in your words the strengths of your firm?
“Each team member is an integral part of the service we offer to our clients, and we all work together to deliver excellence. Being part of Xeinadin means we now have expertise within the group that we can, and do, call upon to provide our clients with a range of services previously only offered by large firms but with the friendliness of a local firm.”
“If you are a business owner who doesn’t understand the accounts we produce, then we are failing in our role as business advisers.”
Peter Pring, Managing Director
What are the most valuable lessons you have learned at your firm?
“Never assume. We want clients to understand what we are doing for them and are happy to spend the time to explain. In my case, I will use analogies or drawings if that makes it easier! If you are a business owner who doesn’t understand the accounts we produce, then we are failing in our role as business advisers.”
What is the most rewarding experience you have had at your firm so far?
“We are all proud of growing the firm by over 100% in the last five years since I became a sole practitioner. As a team, we have a warm glow when clients thank us for helping them or achieving a goal.”
What result you achieved for a client are you most proud of?
“Taking on a small family business as a client and putting practices and procedures in place to grow the business into a multi-million pound a year venture through franchising.”
“We can work with each other as a team to bring cost savings and benefits to our clients and ourselves.”
Peter Pring, Managing Director
What is your favourite statement that you regularly use when advising your clients?
“What are your plans for the future?”
Which conditions do you think a ‘firm of the future’ should meet?
“In an ever-changing world, we need to embrace technology to help our clients and free up our time to have more interaction with the business owners and their staff so we understand the client’s needs more and can provide even better advice.”
How do you see the future of your firm from your perspective?
“As part of a hub of Xeinadin firms on the South Coast, we can work with each other as a team to bring cost savings and benefits to our clients and ourselves, drawing on expertise within the hub and the Xeinadin Group.”
