Xeinadin, one of the leading professional service firms in Ireland and the UK, has announced that Galway firm FCC Chartered Accountants will be joining its expanding Irish team.
A long-established accounting firm in Galway city centre, FCC can trace its origins back to 1971 and would have previously been part of CAG Chartered Accountants. As a full-service accountancy firm their service offering includes auditing and assurance, financial advisory, tax planning, and bookkeeping delivered to a broad range of clients in the retail, construction, manufacturing, food processing, hospitality, and the medical industries; as well as having a notable reputation working with clients in the legal sector. FCC’s client base has doubled since 2021 and the firm has built a strong reputation by developing close and long-lasting relationships with its clients.
Welcoming FCC, Sandra Clarke, Managing Partner of Xeinadin, said: “A firm of the calibre of FCC Chartered Accountants joining Xeinadin is another step forward in our growth in Ireland and the west of the country. Its unique expertise in providing advice in highly complex industries is a huge positive to our team and clients nationally. The firm is known for its hands-on personable approach to client concerns and pride themselves on their responsiveness. In line with Xeinadin’s approach the team are focused on the SME sector and delivering for their clients.
FCC has a proven track record of client service, proactivity, and a commitment to looking after its people. Its client-centric ethos closely aligns with our values in Xeinadin, and we are delighted to have them as a part of our team of experts.”
Dermot Callanan and Jonathan Colohan, Partners in FCC said: “Joining Xeinadin is a major step forward in the growth cycle for our firm. We feel joining Xeinadin will greatly benefit our firm and our clients, who will now have access to a wider range of services and resources and an enhanced pool of experts from all over Ireland and the UK. It also gives our employees growth opportunities and access to highly experienced and motivated peers, which is a huge positive for their career path.
We are delighted that the co-founder of FCC, Frank Fahy, will remain involved as we rebrand to Xeinadin. His drive and determination to constantly deliver high-quality client service is imprinted within the ethos of both of us, and our staff, and has given us the reputation that we have in the market; values that we will take into our exciting future with Xeinadin.”
This is the third firm to join Xeinadin in 2025, with Dublin-based Warren & Partners and KBG Accountants, across Cavan, Leitrim and Longford, joining earlier this year. Xeinadin already has offices in Galway and FCC’s addition will help to grow and expand Xeinadin’s presence and offering in Galway city centre and the surrounding counties.
