What is the most valuable lesson you have learned at your firm?
“The most valuable lesson I have learnt since running Foster Mann UK is to work to each team members strengths, rather than dictating what work people do. This keeps motivation and enthusiasm high whilst also leading to better results.”
What is the most rewarding experience you have had at your firm so far?
“The most rewarding experience I have had so far was visiting a client in London to hand over a cheque to him for £1m as he sold his part of the business when retiring.”
What result you achieved for a client are you most proud of?
“The best result I have achieved for a client is helping to take one of our businesses from £2m turnover to £10.5m in 3 years. We provided management accounts to show them the areas to grow their business, followed up with consultancy and business development sessions tracking their KPI’s to ensure they met the planned growth.”

Which conditions do you think a ‘firm of the future’ should meet?
“Up to date management information, young enthusiastic team, readiness to grow and willingness to learn and grow with the other firms.”
How do you see the future of your firm from your perspective?
“We see the future of our firm as more the same as we have done in the last two years. Keep building a young team who motivate each other and get everyone to buy into a culture of growth, happiness and achievement.”
