We have generated a plethora of talent in not only the entertainment industry including Sir Ian McKellen, Sara Cox, Vernon Kay and the infamous Peter Kay but also sporting legends including cyclist Jason Kenny and boxer Amir Khan. Even the Patak family developed their famous brand from their own home here, now supplying over 90% of the UK’s Indian restaurants. And who can forget that Warburtons is born and bred in Bolton, baking over 2 million rolls, loaves and crumpets each day!
