Xeinadin, one of the leading professional services providers in the UK and Ireland, has appointed Giles Murphy as Managing Partner of the South.

Based in London, Murphy will lead the firm’s strategy and operations in the region, driving the continued growth of Xeinadin’s presence in the South of the UK. His experience in leading and assisting large-scale mergers across the legal and accountancy sectors and having successfully overseen the integration of multiple firms across the UK, will be critical as Xeinadin continues to expand its presence in the South.

Murphy brings three decades of experience from a top 10 accountancy firm and will be key to driving Xeinadin’s ambitious growth plans. His focus will be on strengthening the firm’s market presence and driving growth by expanding the firm through acquisitions, integrating new firms into the wider group, and helping teams win and retain clients.

Murphy will collaborate with teams across the South to integrate newly acquired firms into Xeinadin, ensuring a seamless and supportive transition. Recognising the challenges of change, he will help firms and their employees adapt, highlighting the benefits of joining a larger organisation while encouraging them to embrace new opportunities.

“Giles’ experience will be invaluable in unifying our teams across the South and ensuring that every newly acquired firm feels part of the bigger picture at Xeinadin. Change can be daunting, but when firms see the benefits of being part of a larger operation – access to expertise, technology, and support – they can truly thrive.” Derry Crowley, CEO of Xeinadin, says, “We’ve built something remarkable in just a few years, and with Giles on board, we’re in an even stronger position to help more businesses grow and succeed.”

As the South remains a key hub for entrepreneurs, SMEs in the region are facing mounting challenges from rising operational costs and tax increases. With Murphy’s expertise in delivering change projects, Xeinadin is well-positioned to help these businesses adapt – helping clients digitalise workflows and navigate regulations for sustainable growth.

“The UK is great at fostering entrepreneurial ambition, but too many start-ups struggle to make the leap to becoming established, high-growth businesses,” said Murphy. “Too often, founders lack the right financial expertise, strategic support, and operational resilience to scale beyond the start-up phase. My role at Xeinadin is to bridge that gap, helping colleagues advise SMEs in the South transition from promising ventures to sustainable, industry-leading businesses”.
